Looking back at REMINISCENSE

I had mix feelings when I first landed in Seri Suria. The fear of not being accepted was always there. On the contrary, my fear evolved into the best feeling a teacher could have. As time passes by, I begin to love being with my students; they had not only been my students per se but some of them were also my friends. Now that, I will no longer serve for Seri Suria, I am missing every second being around my students. I always hated GOOD BYES. Nevertheless, I can never avoid it. When I was young, Daddy dearest used to sing me a song entitled 'SEALED WIT A KISS' and tell me that losing is gaining. Being a lil' girl, I have never got the true meaning of that phrase but now it has become some sort of a philosophy that I live in. For instance, I know that I will not be seeing a wholesome of tremendous companions next year's school session (it's indeed a big loss) but the fact is that GOD has left me with lotsa sweet, priceless memories and I will never trade anything for those memoirs. For some of my favourite Surians, I am sorry for leaving you guys, it was never my intention in the first place. If you must know, the students are not the reason for me leaving the school. Students are one of the greatest things that has ever happen in my life throughout 2009. I thank all of you for all the time spent, y'all have been stupendously exuberant. Love y'all and will be missing all of you, loadsss....

SEALED WITH A KISS

So we gotta say goodbye for the summer
baby I promise you this
I'll send you all my love
every day in a letter
Sealed with a kiss

Yes it's gonna be a cold, lonely summer
but I feel the emptiness
I'll send you all my dreams
every day in a letter
Sealed with a kiss

I'll see you in the sunlight
I'll hear your voice everywhere
I'll run to tenderly hold you
but baby you won't be there

I don't wanna say goodbye for the summer
knowing the loneliness
so let us take a pledge to meet in September
and seal it with a kiss

Yes it's gonna be a cold lonely summer
but I feel the emptiness
I'll send you all my love

every day in a letter

Sealed with a kiss

PROLOGUE - 'IT'

2009 has been a year of joy n sorrow...Never enjoyed talking bout the negativity, lest will only write on those petty yet impressive acts, deeds, etc that some Surians had performed during my very super short tenure being a resident in Seri Suria. Since I have a very hectic schedule these days and looking at the numerous number of impressive Surians that I wish to write about, I'll be expressing my views in a few episodes. I guess, GOD has been very kind to me this year. I have never taught that a bunch of cute and adorable teenagers in Seri Suria will leave me with such sweet memoirs. The jokes, the quarrels, gossips, dances, laughter will always linger in my mind...ohhh, how I'm missing those moments already...

Well, I'll start the episodes of my life in Seri Suria with 4 GRACE. I'm already all in tears as I type because 4 GRACE has always been very close to my heart. They might not be as jovial as 4 JOY or as vocal as 4 HOPE, but they are a phenomenon to me. To be able to attend them as their Assistant Class Teacher as well as their History teacher (God knows how I hate History...haha) was a massive gift from GOD.Will get more into the characters of 4 GRACE in my upcoming post. Nevertheless, before I jump on my not so comfy 'BED', I'd like to share with everyone, a piece of art that 4 GRACE has given to me on a very phenomenal day (some of you might think that I am exaggerating but the fact is that, the idea of getting 'IT' for me was indeed original). I was deeply and truly touched, so much so that the moment I read 'IT', i burst into tears. Thanks 4 GRACE, y'all had made my stay worth while and enjoyable. I love every single soul in 4 GRACE and will cherish every single moment spent with them. GOD bless them all. Amen...
