It's been almost 2 months now since I started my new chapter of life in Sri Garden and I had loved every second being here despite of the lil' tantrums of some students that I had to adapt with. New place, new chapter. Teaching wise I would say that I dont have any problems with it. Loved the environments, the ambience is very much better than in my previous school. Nevertheless, I still miss the Senior 4 students in my previous school. They always had their own way to cheer the teachers up, am not trying to imply that the Sri Garden students' cant do the same though. The students in Sri Garden are great, some of them really had made me feel at place. At this very moment, I love being in Form 1A and 1R.
And oooohhh, love the teachers here too, no busy-bodies here and there's no one to sabotage you here. In my previous school, there are a lot of those kind of shark species, hated them very much because they tend to tarnish the teaching profesion. Am so lucky to be in Seri Garden, because the bosses are very helpful and supportive. They give only constructive criticism, and most of all their comments and opinions are to help you to improve your teaching skills, where as in my previous school, some bosses are only good at telling off the new teachers and make them feel really useless, am not saying this solely based on my own experience but also from some of other teachers who have been teaching in my previous school before and now had left the school because they felt unappreciated. I was indeed very sad when some of my friends were told that they dont know how to teach harshly even though they had only been teaching in the school for less than 5 months. Deep in my heart, I thought, if a superior knows that his or her comrades are not doing a good job, the superior should have given him or her some guidelines or perhaps some coaching and not straight away bombard the person. I guess, probably that's why the turn over in my previous school is very high compared to Sri Garden. When I was in my previous school, most teachers there have 2 faces; they talk bad things about the management at the back and threatened to resign but in front of them, they praised the management. Despite of all the bad things they've talked about my previous school, they are the ones who have been teaching in the school for years. How hypocrite can they be, i thought. On the other hand, I have yet to see this type of teachers in Sri Garden, most teachers here are here to perform their REAL job as a teacher and not to be someone who wrecks into some other teachers' life for their own pleasure. In brief, I am so, so glad that I left my previous school and I am very honored that Sri Garden have given me a chance to serve for them. I hope that I can exert the very best in Seri Garden. Bye, bye Seri ***** and welcome Sri Garden.....Wooooohooooooo.......
